Poster Elaboration and Presentation Guidelines
Poster production
Only after receiving the letter of acceptance must the poster be prepared;
Poster dimensions
Width: minimum 50 cm and maximum 90 cm;
Height: minimum 80 cm and maximum 120 cm.
Required Items:
Title: as in the accepted abstract;
Identification: area of knowledge; title (as in the accepted abstract); author’s/authors’ names and capitalized surnames, as well the abbreviation(s) of author’s/authors’ affiliation(s) and country(ies) in parentheses; development institution(s), if applicable; identification (Scientific Initiation Work, Basic or Technical Education Teacher Work, if applicable);
Recommendations: 1) to use a simple font in a size that allows reading at a distance of two meters; 2) to limit the use of text to a minimum necessary; 3) to maximize the use of figures, photos, tables, graphs and diagrams; 4) to organize information so as to emphasize the central ideas of the work; 5) to make the poster as interesting as possible; (6) to make sure that the author’s/authors’ is/are present during the entire session for presentation and explanation; (7) to have adhesive tapes on the date of presentation to affix the poster;
Restrictions: 1) the presentation of the poster by third parties, either in person or by any other means, is prohibited; 2) the exhibition of works that do conform to the poster elaboration and presentation guidelines is prohibited; 3) the use of projectors, overhead projectors, computers, microphones, speakers, or any other sound apparatus and instruments that may interfere with the communication of session authors is prohibited as well.
